I am Associate Professor at Université de Bourgogne. I teach at the IEM department of the faculty of sciences and technologies. I am affiliated with IMVIA laboratory.
I am also Adjunct Associate Professor with NTNU, where I investigate on material appearance with the Colourlab.
I am co-funder of Spektralion AS, a spin-off that helps people make the best use of their spectral data. We add value to the entire spectral imaging pipeline, from image capture to useful results for specific applications.
My research focus on two aspects. I am an expert in imaging technology from the color and spectral point of view. I focused on different technologies, but my principal contributions have been in displays and cameras. In particular I contributed to the development of Spectral Filter Arrays. I am now also investigating on perceptual appearance of materials, on which I am primarily interested in color, translucency and gloss perception.
